How The Runes Taught Me Weather Work

Hi there,

I want to share something with you that I haven't spoken about much publicly: how my weather work practice actually developed.

It wasn't planned. It wasn't researched. It emerged directly from relationship with the runes.

The Moment Everything Changed

One storm season, while carving Tiwaz, I got the inner knowing: "Add this to your wind work."

I didn't understand. Tyr is about justice and sacrifice. What did that have to do with weather?

But I've learned to trust the runes when they speak. So I followed it — and when I paired Tyr with Kári, the results were profound.

Later I learned Tyr was the original sky god before Odin took that role. Of course the sky and the wind belong together. The runes knew this before I did.

Why Relational Rune Work Matters

This is why I love relational rune work. The runes aren't just symbols we study intellectually. They're living wisdom keepers. They teach us what we need, when we need it — often before we understand why.

My weather work practice didn't come from books or research (though those have their place). It came from listening. From carving. From offerings, from shamanic journeying. From relationship. From trusting the inner knowing that arises when we work with these ancient mysteries.
