Have you ever noticed that if you work with your psychic gifts or energetic gifts, that some days are easier than others?

I have totally noticed that lately.

Sometimes I’ll go through a couple months where everything’s great and smooth. Then I’ll go through a phase of a couple months or longer where I have to really work hard at connecting to my spirit guides to get my gifts to work consistently.

So if you’re somebody who’s using their psychic or shamanic gifts in their business or personal life, you may have had this frustration happen to you too.

You may have heard me talk about Sacred Tobacco as being a good connecting spirit to other spirit groups. And it still is that.

In addition, I have found the Runes to be excellent portals to engage with helping spirits or deities to help solve practical problems, spiritual problems, and much more.

So, you’ll probably get some more emails for me in the future about relating to the runes in a visceral manner.

And don’t worry, you don’t have to know anything about the Runes to get something out of this.

Let’s just start you off with a rune. It is gonna be key to protection.

(For those of you who already know the Runes, I’m going to be mainly talking about Elder Futhark)

So, if you’ve worked in a shamanic capacity or done any kind of magical work or just been to a ceremony, you know the importance of protection.

Algiz, is the Elder Futhark Rune that I use for protection. It is also a rune that I use in honoring certain deities when I etch or carve runes into candles for them while chanting their name.

If you’d like to get started practicing the Runes, just take your finger and trace this rune in the air with your finger. It helps if while you’re tracing the room, to go ahead and chant or sing three times:

This will get your body acclimated to this ritual.
